Development of Regional Wildlife Advisory Committees

Who is affected: First Nations, Stakeholders throughout B.C.

Regional Wildlife Advisory Committees will be essential to implementing Together for Wildlife. Council has been working with the First Nations–B.C. Wildlife and Habitat Conservation Forum and Provincial Hunting and Trapping Advisory Team to provide recommended approaches.

Actions & Next Steps:

Joint meetings were held with the Forum and PHTAT in June and September. Regional Wildlife Advisory Committees will be the focus of discussion in the December 2022 wildlife dialogue.
